I agree I think you should set a date and venue and just go for it. We can always organize a larger event later if this proves successful.

With the lovely weather today we could always have a pic -nic! (Get it??!!)

But seriously I am up for any meeting; I feel I need it. Being able to share stuff with people on line has been great therapy for me but meeting up would be even better.
Places like Prezzo are quite reasonable and there are loads around everywhere. Is London still the preferred location?
With best wishes
Val

OK let's agree on a date. I'm thinking a weekend in April that's good. Saturday would be preferable for me but Sunday is not a deal breaker.

So we have: 5th / 12th / 19th / 26th - all good for me.

Reading your replies it seems around the Kings Cross neck of the woods seems good. I personally like the idea of the Parcel Yard in the station.

What do you all think?

5th of April is good for me. I am hoping to go on holiday the week after that. Again Sunday 6th also fine.

I am happy to meet anywhere.

Best wishes
Val

Hi All,

Sorry for delay in getting back - checking dates for family get-togethers, 5th of April is OK for me too, as I said before I will come with my husband if that is OK, but he can go off and amuse himself and come back for me. If we are going all that way (from Peterborough) by train we may as well make a day of it.

What time should we meet, I think I suggested 11am before, giving time to get there and enough time to chat and maybe have a meal?

Hopefully a few more can make it, but it looks like we have enough to make it worthwhile already?

Maybe we can mention it on Facebook too, for those who do not visit this site often?

Hope to see you soon.......should we wear badges, flowers, colours or something so we can spot each other, or do we have fun trying to identify the people finding it hard to focus?!!!! :P

You're all going to hate me but I've been a pillock and not realised 5th isn't free for me after all.

Sorry sorry sorry. Calendars are really useful if you look at them occasionally.

Leaves 12th / 19th / 26th. Hope this is not insurmountable.

Dave.

I think the 19th is Easter Saturday - would that be a problem?

At the moment I think I can make the other dates, how about anyone else?

Spose that might be a problem for some?

So that's 12th / 26th or 3rd May

So what dates do you like - let's get this sealed.
